The HyDAF dissolved air system scraper is a robust three sprocket system designed to minise the water content in the removed sludge.
- The Hydroflux HyDAF dissolved air flotation system is a counter current process whereby the sludge is scraped to the inlet of the dissolved air tank. This feature provides an second bite opportunity for air bubble attachment, improving the performance and generating a drier sludge.
- The mechanical scraper system is based on a 3-sprocket design that allows the scraper blades to maintain contact with the sludge beach and minimise carry over of water into the sludge hopper.
- The number and type of blades used is determined in each application by the type of sludge and the sludge load.
